Woman alleges sexual assault in empty Denver concourse
She says to several media outlets that she was traveling to Illinois to interview for a spot at a convent
"The concourse was largely empty, but the woman alleges that airport employees walked by and saw what was happening but did not intervene. 7News reported the woman believed the workers were janitorial staff."
"I was appalled that I was going through something so brutal and they kept walking.

Proud of Hertiage!
Czech president will never again be short of pens, is about to receive thousands in the mail
PRAGUE — Some Czechs were amused, others appalled. Now they want to make sure their president never again feels the need to nab a pen.
More than 5,000 Czechs have signed up to a Facebook campaign to mail pens to Vaclav Klaus as a video of him sheepishly pocketing one he took an obvious liking to during an official signing ceremony last week in Chile became widely popular on the Internet.
Klaus says it's customary for leaders to keep pens after signing accords. But the manner in which he slipped the pen — encrusted with semiprecious Chilean stones — into his pocket underneath the desk while grinning was criticized by some of his countrymen.
Shady Bastard!

Shame on you Jonjay and Rich, sucking on Seacrest balls
On Monday we learned about a curious new venture from Premiere Radio Networks that offers radio shows "voice talent to take/make your on-air calls"—in other words, fake talk-radio callers.
And then we heard from a few folks in the business, and it turns out this is a thing! All of wacky morning drive-time radio, apparently, is populated by voice actors pretending to be jilted lovers—or in at least one instance, an aviation expert talking about a local plane crash. Ryan Seacrest is a major practitioner, and Dick Clark as a major supplier. We talked to some fake radio callers, and here are their stories.
"Any time you hear something surreal on a morning radio show, it's bullshit," one veteran independent radio producer told me. "The great prank phone calls—they're all fake. If it's top 40, and if it has a morning show, then it uses actors."
I really did like the segment until every one of them was so over the top.
That's it, Lady La on 101.5 it is in the morning.

Educating women works
More proof:
Empower Women to Realize the African Dream
http://allafrica.com/stories/201103080561.html
In Africa, the feminization of poverty still remains acute. One in 20 girls born today in Angola, Mozambique, Liberia and Sierra Leone will die in childbirth. An African woman is 25 times more likely to die during labour than a European woman. Girls still face genital mutilation in 28 African countries. More than 800,000 Africans, most of them female, are victims of human trafficking. Three young women are infected with HIV/AIDS for every young man in Africa.
The African woman, however, is also Africa’s face of hope, strength and opportunity. The rate of female entrepreneurship is higher in Africa than in any other region of the world. An African country – Rwanda – boosts the highest female representation in parliament. The primary enrollment rate has climbed from 84 girls for every 100 boys in 1991 to 91 in 2009.

- First, more African girls must go to and stay in school long enough to be armed with the skills essential for success.
- Second, protecting women’s rights is essential for enhancing their access to economic mobility.
- Third, women must gain access to productive resources.
- Fourth, with African women currently absorbed by businesses concentrated in the less productive areas of the informal sector, breaking free will require access to credit – not just microfinance but to higher credit amounts at low interest rates with longer maturity terms.

I love you Neil!
Neil Patrick Harris tweeted about his excitement after the announcement was made:
HIMYM picked up for 2 more years! Yahoo! With so much job security, I should buy something extravagant. Like a pony. Or some gold teeth!
